Longwave Music Radio (LMR) is an independent online radio station dedicated to discovering, championing and sharing original music from independent artists around the world.
Founded in Ireland, Longwave Music began in 2018 as a record and publishing label with a mission to support the local music scene on the south-west coast of Ireland. When the Covid-19 pandemic brought live music to a standstill, we launched Longwave Music Radio in 2020 to give artists another platform to share their work and connect with listeners.
What began as a response to an unprecedented challenge has grown into an international community of musicians, music lovers and industry professionals, united by a passion for original music.
Today, LMR broadcasts around the clock, bringing together emerging talent, established independent artists and sounds from across genres, countries and cultures.
